-The initial game dashboard lacked clarity, with elements feeling cluttered and difficult to navigate. Players struggled to interact with mission features, and the user experience felt overwhelming, hindering the enjoyment of the game. The client sought to create a clean, streamlined, and visually appealing dashboard that would provide an enjoyable and intuitive experience.
We overhauled the dashboard with a focus on simplified navigation and a clean layout. By optimizing the UI for mobile screens, we made it easier for players to access key features like mission tracking, spaceship management, and dynamic leaderboards. The design incorporates the space exploration theme, using Voyager Grotesque typography for a sleek, modern feel, while also improving functionality with intuitive transitions and progress indicators.
The client envisioned a futuristic yet simple interface that would reflect the adventure and exploration theme of the game. They aimed to make the dashboard visually immersive while maintaining clarity and usability. Their long-term goal is for Cosmic Clash to evolve into a premium space battle game with an engaging player experience.
The typography for the dashboard design utilizes Voyager Grotesque Bold for headings and key elements, paired with Voyager Grotesque for body text. This modern, clean typeface reflects the futuristic, space-themed aesthetic of the game while ensuring clarity and readability on mobile screens. The bold weights are used to highlight important sections, such as mission stats and leaderboards, while the regular font weight provides a balanced and comfortable reading experience throughout the interface.
