-The previous website did not effectively showcase the variety of courses or make it easy for users to understand the benefits of each course. The design was outdated, and the user flow was not optimized for conversions. LouLou required a fresh, modern website that not only looked appealing but also simplified course discovery and bookings.
To address the challenges faced by LouLou’s previous website, the design was focused on creating a user-centric, modern, and engaging platform. The primary solution was to build a clean, minimalistic layout that highlights LouLou’s courses and services, making it easy for users to understand and navigate. The design incorporated custom illustrations to enhance the aesthetic and create an emotional connection with the target audience. These illustrations were strategically placed to complement the overall calming and welcoming feel of the site.
LouLou’s vision was to create a modern, minimalist design that appeals to expectant mothers and new parents. The design should feel welcoming, calming, and professional, with a focus on simplicity and easy navigation. The client liked clean, soft color palettes and minimalist designs similar to wellness and yoga-related brands like Motherly and Mindbodygreen.
The LouLou logo was designed to be simple and elegant, using clean lines and a soft color palette that resonates with the concept of motherhood and wellness. The logo uses a combination of modern typography and soft iconography to create a calming visual.
The primary colors of the brand include Soft Beige (#F8E9D2), which conveys warmth, comfort, and calm, and Light Peach (#F2C6A0), a soothing shade that reflects warmth and nurturing. For secondary colors, Soft Gray (#E0E0E0) is used for neutral backgrounds and balance, while Olive Green (#A1B18E) is sparingly applied to evoke a sense of organic wellness and nature.
The initial wireframe was designed with simplicity and clarity in mind. It featured a minimal top navigation menu for easy access to key sections such as About, Courses, Blog, and Contact. The main content area highlighted featured courses, benefits, and user testimonials, while the footer included contact information, social media links, and a newsletter signup form, all aimed at making navigation intuitive and efficient for users.
