Product design is the design of a digital product end to end, from first sign-up to daily use. For a SaaS or web app that means the onboarding that gets a new user to their first win, the activation moments that convert a trial to a paid plan, and the dashboards, settings, and multi-role screens people work in for hours. It is concerned with how the product performs, not only how it appears.

What is the difference between product design and UI/UX design?

If you are building an app or platform rather than a brochure site, product design is the version of UI/UX scoped to your problem.
How much does SaaS product design cost?
